lost in the world

1. the general premise of the video is describing how people are so distracted by their phones, they aren't focusing on the world around them. 2. I think the video is effective as it shows real life situations and true reactions from people . 3. I believe it is an examination of our current situation as the fights, harassment, suicide and "fake" selfies that are portrayed are things that happen daily.

Describing photography

Describing the scene: 1.  The photo was taken in a field. It's an image of a women on a ladder hanging clothing from a clothes line. In the picture you can see lots of clothes on a line, a women on a tall ladder, grass. In the back ground there seems to be a barn. On the line, hangs many clothing items. Under the ladder is a basket filled with more clothes.  The people ( the objects) look as if they are calm.  The viewer's attention is focused on the ladder. The photo is vivid / dark / expressive/... The photo is calm, light colors, not very busy.  The photo makes us feel peaceful. The picture makes us think about the old days when women would hang clothes outside to dry. It looks like this women is a house wife, who tends to her family duties.  The photographer mainly uses dull colors, nothing too vibrant.  He/She (probably) wants to criticize/express/show how women did laundry before dryers were made.  Describe the scene- A man i...

Not what is realistic but what we think looks realistic 7. Taking pictures of reality and putting them together to create an alternate reality 8.
